After 25 years in the private sector, Michael J. Bruecks founded Black Site International, LLC in 2012. Bruecks has extensive experience developing and improving advanced security protection programs in the nuclear sector and is regarded as an industry leader and security subject matter expert.

Bruecks has participated in numerous national security working groups shaping industry standards and policies.  He has been recognized by the U.S. government for his leadership during some of the most significant security threats and incidents in the nuclear industry following the events of 9/11, and has conducted numerous security briefings with select  members of the White House Staff, U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Special Operations Command, U.S. Intelligence agencies, and various Federal Law Enforcement agencies.
